Lifeline's R(un) for One 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event Start: Started in 2011, the R(un) for One 5K is a family-friendly annual event where Lifeline Children’s Services' alumni families, friends, advocates, and community partners gather together to raise awareness and funding for vulnerable children around the world.
• Mission: Through Lifeline’s international orphan care ministry, vulnerable children are receiving love and care, enrolling in schools, learning life skills and hearing the hope of the gospel.
• Date & Location: On Saturday, August 23rd runners will lace up to run for this great cause! The Birmingham location is at Dawson Church's Recreation Center and will run through the streets of Edgewood in Homewood.
• Family Fun: Join us for a fun-filled morning with bounce houses, food trucks, face painting and fun for the whole family. We can’t wait to see you there!

🌐 Virtual Option

• Participation: There is a virtual option where runners can receive a run packet in the mail and run wherever they are!

🗓️ Schedule

• 7:00 AM: Registration and Vendor Booths open
• 8:00 AM: 5K begins
• 8:45 AM: Fun Run begins
• 9:45 AM: Awards

• Packet Pickup: Packet Pickup will be at TrakShak280 on Friday, August 22nd from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
