UAB Veterans Day 5k

Race Details

Join us on Saturday, November 14, 2026, for the 4th Annual UAB Veterans Day 5K presented by Viva Health at Railroad Park — a meaningful community event dedicated to honoring those who have served and supporting the next generation of military-connected students.

• Participants: More than 1,800 participants and 200 volunteers have joined since launching in 2023.
• Fundraising: The event has raised over $33,000 to support UAB veteran and dependent students.
• Relief Distribution: Over $9,000 in direct relief provided to students for essentials like housing and books.
• Inclusivity: All are welcome — runners, walkers, ruckers, strollers, and wheelchair racers.

This year, we’re continuing our mission with even greater purpose. Together, let’s show our veterans they are seen, valued, and supported — not just on Veterans Day, but every day.

• Early Pickup: Nov 12th and 13th from 9 AM–6 PM at UAB Hill Student Center, Suite 313
• Race Day Pickup: Begins at 6:30 AM onsite

• Registration: 6:30-8:15 AM
• Course Direction: 8:00-9:45 AM
• Finish Line Support: 8:00-9:30 AM
