• Location: West Village Town Square, 1001 Apollo Road, Scott, LA
• Date: Saturday, November 21, 2026
• Start Times: 1 Mile Walk at 8 AM / 5K at 8:30 AM

Race Description

• Excitement: We are so excited to have you join us for the Acadiana Detachment of the Marine Corps League’s 6th Annual Semper Fi Strides 5K/1M!
• Route: Run or walk through beautiful West Village in Scott for a 3.2 mile route that will make you proud!
• Presentation: There will be a presentation of the Colors prior to the start of the 5K and food and fun after the event.
• Photo Booth: There will also be a Photo Booth so that you can capture some fun, memorable pictures from the morning.

Registration Details

• Inclusions: Registration includes a t-shirt and finisher’s medal.
• Guarantee: T-shirts are guaranteed if registered by November 7, 2026.
• Finishers: All finishers receive a finisher's medal.

Registration Fees

• Early Fee: $30 registration by November 7, 2026.
• Late Fee: $35 late registration from November 8, 2026 through November 21, 2026.

Military Service Yard Signs

• Availability: New this year, we are offering runners/walkers the opportunity to add a yard sign to their registration honoring any military member of their family.
• Customization: You will be able to put "In Memory Of" (if deceased) their name, rank, Branch of the Military and dates of service on the sign.
• Display: The Signs will be displayed along the race route.

• Location: Geaux Run, 906 Harding Street, Lafayette, LA 70503
• Date: Friday, November 20, 2026
• Time: From 11 AM—6 PM and on Race Day at the Registration Tent starting at 7 AM.

Age Groups

• Categories: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Awards

• Overall Awards: Overall Male and Female awards.
• Age Group Awards: Top 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each 10-year age group…20-29, 30-39, etc.
