🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

11th Annual Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh 5K from Bar Anticipation, Lake Como on Saturday, 10/4/2025 at 9AM.

The course goes through the great Jersey Shore towns of Belmar, Lake Como and Spring Lake. One Mile Walk as well. Post race party at Bar Anticipation (703 16th Ave, Lake Como, NJ) with free barbecue. Many awards to include age groups. Timing by Elite Racing Systems.

• Early Bird Registration: $35 (through 8/31/25)
• Online Pre-Registration: $40 (9/1 through 9/28/25)
• Race Week Registration: $45 (9/29 - 10/4) - (shirts while supplies last)

🚶‍♀️ 1 Mile Walk (12 and over)

• Early Bird Registration: $30 (through 8/31/25)
• Online Pre-Registration: $35 (9/1 through 9/28/25)

👶 1 Mile Walk (11 and under)

• Early Bird Registration: $20 (through 10/2)
• Race Week Registration: $25 (10/3 - 10/4) In-Person Only

📅 Post Registration Details

Post Registration and Bib & T-Shirt Pickup - Shillelagh Club (815 16th Ave, Belmar, NJ) Friday, 10/3, 6pm - 8pm and Race Day 7:30 am - 8:45 am at Bar Anticipation.

💖 Charitable Efforts

This year's race is dedicated to raising funds for Belmar Water Rescue/Lifeguards and the Shillelagh Foundation, which provides college scholarships to local students and helps individual people in need. Please consider a donation during registration.
