🏃‍♀️ Trestle Hustle Overview

Join us for our 16th Annual Trestle Hustle hosted by the Boone County Hospital Foundation. For the 2025 event, we are offering an in-person event and a virtual option.

👟 Eligibility and Participation

• Open to All: All abilities are welcome, ages 14 and over. Participants of any age are welcome with a parent or guardian's signed consent.
• Children's Participation: Children ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult during the race.
• Race Options: Athletes can choose to complete a Duathlon (2-mile run, 14-mile bike, 2-mile run) OR a 5K or 10K run.
• Start Time and Location: Saturday, June 15, beginning at 8:00 AM at the Madrid High Trestle Trail beginning at Dalander Park / Johnson Trailhead (702 E 3rd St, Madrid, IA 50156).

⏱️ Timing and Categories

Our races will be chip-timed by True Time Racing Services. Age categories will be: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.

💲 Pricing Information

• Earlybird Pricing: Available through May 17 - $50 for 5K/10K and $60 for Duathlon.
• Price Increase: After May 17 - $60 for 5K/10K and $70 for Duathlon.
• Virtual Option: Virtual athletes will complete the race anytime between June 20-22.

🎟️ Packet Pick-Up

• Date and Location: Packet pick-up will be available as a "drive-thru" at Boone County Hospital on Friday, June 20, from 4 – 6 pm.
• Contact Us: Please contact us to make other arrangements if this time does not work for you.
• Race Day Pickup: Packets will also be available the morning of the race, but we highly encourage athletes to pick them up before the race day if possible.

🧴 Event Day Safety Measures

Staff will provide hand sanitizer, fresh wipes, trash cans and bags, and other necessary cleaning supplies. Handwashing stations and portable toilets will be provided.

📝 Submitting Virtual Race Times

• Time Submission: VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS CAN SUBMIT TIME ANY TIME BETWEEN JUNE 20-22.
• Steps to Enter: Follow the link emailed to you, search for your name, click the "Submit Virtual Time" link next to your name.
• Verification: Enter your total running time and Date of Birth (to verify it is you).
• Optional Submission: Optionally, submit a STRAVA, Garmin, Fitbit link from your run.

🥇 Food and Awards

We will provide "grab and go" foods such as granola bars and bottled water. Participants will receive a Finisher's Medal upon completion of the race. We will also award both male and female 1st, 2nd & 3rd places in each event and age category for the in-person event. Virtual participants will be mailed a finisher's medal the week of June 23, 2025.
