Sandhill Shuffle 5k Run/Walk

Event Overview

The Sandhill Shuffle is back!! Saturday September 26, 2026, the new Wheatfield Park Board will be hosting our 4th annual Sandhill Shuffle 5k race!

Location

• Start/End Point: Centennial Park, in the heart of the Town of Wheatfield.
• Nearby Landmarks: Across from Heather's Diner and Stower's & Son Meat & Grocer.
• Race Course: Enjoy 3.1 miles weaving through our small town streets!
• Purpose: Proceeds will go toward the Centennial Park playground project.

Registration Information

• Online Registration: NOW OPEN through September 24th at 11:00pm.
• Early Registration Bonus: Register before September 7th to guarantee your Sandhill Shuffle 5k T-Shirt!
• Race Day Registration: Begins at 7am and closes at 7:45am.
• Packet Pickup: Available on Race Day at the registration location.

Race Day Details

• Start Time: 8:00 am.
• Awards Time: Awards will be handed out at race completion, approximately 9:15 am.
• Awards Categories: Overall Female and Male, Overall Female and Male Masters.
• Age Divisions: Top 3 finishers in each Age division from 10 and under to 80+ and in Athena, Clydesdale, and Non-Binary.

Registration Fees

• Adults: $25 (ages 15 and up).
• Youth: $15 (ages 14 and under).
• Price Increase Notice: RACE PRICE WILL INCREASE TO $30 for ages 15 and up ON SEPTEMBER 1st 2026!
• No Refunds: All registrations are final - there are no refunds.
