Sandhill Shuffle 5k Run/Walk

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

The Sandhill Shuffle is back!! On Friday evening, September 19th, 2025, we will kick off the Festival weekend with some 5k Run/Walk fun, while the Wheatfield Chamber of Commerce hosts a live music event! What better way to unwind after a race than relaxing in the park with live music!

🏞️ Race Details

• Location: Centennial Park, in the heart of the Town of Wheatfield, across from Heather's Diner and Stower's & Son Meat & Grocer.
• Course: Enjoy 3.1 miles weaving through our small town streets!
• Proceeds: All proceeds will go toward our Centennial Park playground project. We won't stop running until we reach our goal!
• Registration: Online registration is NOW OPEN and will remain open through September 19th at 11:00am.

📅 Registration Information

• Early Registration: Register before September 1st to guarantee your Sandhill Shuffle 5k T-Shirt!
• Packet Pickup: Race Day Registration and packet pickup will begin at 4:30 pm.
• Closing Time: Registration will close promptly at 5:45pm before the race start.
• Race Start: The race will start at 6:00 pm.

🏆 Awards

Awards presented at the end of the race will be presented to:

• Overall: Overall Female and Male
• Masters: Overall Female and Male Masters
• Top Finishers: Top 3 finishers in each Age division, Male and Female: 10 and under, 11 - 12, 13-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.
• Special Categories: Awards for Athena (>170 lbs), Clydesdale (>210 lbs), and Non-Binary categories.

💰 Registration Fees

• Adults: $25 (ages 15 and up)
• Youth: $15 (ages 14 and under)
• Price Increase: Race price will increase to $30 for ages 15 and up ON SEPTEMBER 1st, 2025!
• Policy: All registrations are final - there are no refunds.
