Witches in the Woods 5K/2K | Hometown Happenings

Event Overview

Join us for a night time run/walk & prove Witches live in the Woods! Take a photo of a witch with your phone for a chance to WIN prizes!

Entry Includes

• Finisher Medals: for FIRST 200 to sign up!
• Night time race: through the trees & along the roads of the Fairgrounds at night! Please bring flashlights or headlamps.
• FREE entry: ($5 value) into the Hometown Hocus Pocus Market - Sanderson Sisters of "Hocus Pocus" perform. Shopping, Live music, food, craft drinks, trick or treating & costume contests.
• Awards: for Top Overall & Top 3 Finishers in each age group.
• "Best Costume" Prizes: Strollers are welcome! Kids Under 3 are free.

Timeline

• 4:30-5:30p: Sign-in/Registration
• 5:00-9:00p: Market begins in Industrial Bldg
• 5:30-8:00p: Hay rides on south end of Market
• 5:40 pm: Costume Contests & National Anthem
• 6:00 pm: Race starts.
• After the Race: Race Awards & Enjoy the Hometown Hocus Pocus Market
• 6:30-7:30 pm: Sanderson Sisters at Market!
• 7:30 pm: Sanderson Sisters perform!

Cost

5K: $30 for adults, Non-timed 2K & Kids 3-12: $20. Under 3 are free. Shirts extra $16 thru Oct. 19th. A limited number of shirts may be available after the race.

Packet Pickup/Registration

Packet Pickup/Registration is at 5:15 pm at the event.

Important Notes

• No refunds: will be given due to weather or for any other reason.
• Registration Transfer: You also can NOT transfer your registration after October 1st.
• Shirt Pickup: If you do not pick up your shirt at the event, unclaimed shirts will be sold after the run.
