2024 Southbury Turkey Trot 5K & Kids Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ WHEN

• Date: Thursday, November 28th, 2024.
• Race Time: Race begins at 8:30 a.m. sharp.
• Kid’s Fun Run: Begins at 8:00 a.m.

📍 WHERE

• Location: Maxx 365 Fitness Studio, 730 Main Street South, Southbury, CT off I-84, Exit 14.

🤝 TEAM COMPETITION

• Minimum Participants: Teams must have a minimum of 3 participants but no maximum.
• Team Name: You must register a team name during the registration process to be eligible.

🏅 5K REGISTRATION

• Registration: Register early to secure your spot and race shirt as we are expecting the race and shirts to sell out!!
• Cost: Pre-registration is online now for $30.00, plus 50% of the processing fees (the other 50% will be paid by the SWC).
• Registration Deadline: Deadline for online registration is Tuesday midnight, November 26th.
• No Race Day Registration: There will be no race day registration. We will do our best to accommodate shirt size but cannot guarantee.

👶 KID’S FUN RUN REGISTRATION

• Cost: Pre-registration online $10.00, plus 50% of the processing fees (the other 50% will be paid by the SWC).

🏞️ RACE COURSE

• Certification: USATF CERTIFIED COURSE.
• Course Route: The course route goes down Main Street South then turns right onto Oak Tree Road and then a left hand turn back on to Main Street South.
• Terrain: Flat and fast!

🏆 AWARDS

• Enrollment Numbers: For overall race winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd places) there must be at least 100 people registered per gender category for awards to be given for that gender.
• Age Group Awards: For age group specific categories, there must be at least 10 people registered per gender category for awards to be given for that gender.
• Timing: All awards will be based on GUN TIME.

🎁 PROCEEDS

• Beneficiaries: The majority of the proceeds from the Southbury Turkey Trot will benefit the Southbury Food bank, Southbury Fuel Bank and Southbury Needy Fund.
