Oakland Tech 5km Fundraiser Race and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

Support Oakland Tech Students and Programs. Join us for a 5K trail race or 1-mile fun run/walk in beautiful Joaquin Miller Park on November 2, 2025 (end of Daylight savings time.) The course winds through towering redwoods and offers both a scenic stroll for casual participants and a challenging route for competitive runners.

🎉 Fundraising Purpose

This event is a fundraiser for the Oakland Tech PTSA, which provides invaluable funding for student programs and activities. Every dollar makes a difference for our students. The PTSA supports the Oakland Tech Cross Country team by covering costs for meet entry fees, training equipment, nutrition, and travel — all essential for helping our runners perform at their best.

Oakland Tech Cross Country athletes have a proud tradition of success, with both varsity cross country teams winning the Oakland Championship for the past three years. Your participation helps continue this tradition of excellence.

• Bib Pick-up: Saturday, November 1nd, 2pm-4pm @ Transports or Sunday, November 2rd, 8:30am @ Joaquin Miller Meadow
