2024 Willow Spring High School Turkey Trot

🦃 STORM THE SPRING BEFORE YOU GOBBLE!!

Established in 2022, Willow Spring High School is BACK with its Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5k Run!

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Course: The USATF-certified 5K course will start and end on the track and include a loop that will take you around campus, down the Park-Depot Greenway Trail, and into the South Lakes neighborhood before your return.
• Fun Runs: The Kids Fun Run (9 and under), and Diaper Dash (4 and under) will all occur on the school track.

🚫 Registration Information

• Competitive 5K: All registration for the Competitive 5K and the Family Fun 5K is closed.
• On-Site Registration: We will only be doing on-site registration for the Kids Fun Run (9 and under) and Diaper Dash (4 and under). Registration will close at 9:00 for both.

🏆 Awards and Prizes

• Competitive 5K: Awards will be given following the competitive 5K, including overall and age group awards.
• Course Record: For an added bonus, the course record holder always gets a free entry!
• Fun Family 5K: Includes walkers, runners, and strollers (no pets) and features a costume contest judged during the race.
• Participation Medal: All participants will receive a medal at the end of their race.

🎽 Shirts and Benefits

• T-Shirts: Participants who run the Competitive 5K or the Fun Family 5K who sign up before October 25th will receive a t-shirt.
• No Guarantee: If you register after October 25th, t-shirts are not guaranteed.

🌟 Open Invitation

This event is open to ANY and EVERYONE!! Proceeds will benefit the school's Cross Country Teams, Track Teams, and Sports Boosters. This is going to be a FUN event that you don't want to miss.
