It's time for The Center for Women's 19th Annual 5k Run/Walk on December 7th, 2024 at 9:00AM.

📅 Event Overview

• Date: December 7th, 2024
• Location: 55 E. Jordan St, Brevard, NC
• Time: Race starts at 9:00 AM
• Route: Scenic course on Maple Street starting and ending at Grace Brevard Church

🎉 Post-Race Festivities

• Christmas Parade: Stay around Brevard for the Christmas parade
• Light Up the Night: An evening of wonder with twinkling lights and decorated storefronts
• Activities: Tree-lighting ceremony, live music, performances, ice skating, hayrides, food trucks, and shopping
• Fun: Evening of free family fun!

🏅 Awards and Prizes

• Costume Contest: Prizes for 1st and 2nd place for the most creative/crazy costumes
• Awards: Overall M/F finishers: top three Male/Female in various age groups
• Participation Medals: For kids aged 10 & under
• Encouragement: Dress appropriately for the weather

🕒 Event Schedule

• 7:30 am: On-site registration and check-in
• 8:30 am: Check-in & on-site registration ends
• 8:45 am: Music, National Anthem, and sing along to Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer
• 9:00 am: Race starts!

🚗 Parking Information

• Available Locations: Grace Brevard, The Center for Women, First Baptist Church
• Address: 134 S Johnson Street, 94 S. Gaston Street, Brevard
• Requirements: Bring your signed waiver if you haven't signed it online
• Refreshments: Homemade baked goods, coffee, tea, and water pre and post-race
