• Date: Saturday, January 10, 2026
• Time: 8:00AM Start
• Distance: 5K (3.1 mile) fun run * NEW COURSE FOR 2026 - See Course Map Link Below *
• Registration Fee: $25 up to January 4, $40 after January 4 and day of event

👕 Registration Information

• Includes: t-shirt and registration packet: T-shirts available while supplies last
• Custom Bib: The first 1,400 registrations get a custom Lake Sumter Landing 5K race bib
• Packet Pick Up: Friday, January 9, from 8:30am to 4:00pm at La Hacienda Regional Center, 1200 Avenida Central, The Villages, FL 32159
• Race Day Pick Up: Next to the finish line by Canal Street & Old Mill Run starting at 7:00am

⏰ Race Information

• Start Time: The race will start promptly at 8:00am
• Closing Time: All participants should cross the start line by 8:05am: No late starts
• Road Reopening: Local law enforcement requests roads be reopened by 9:10am
• Finishing Time: Participants who have not finished within 70 minutes may be asked to move to the sidewalk

⚠️ Safety Guidelines

• Prohibited Items: In-line skates, bounce boots, skateboards, and dogs on leashes are NOT allowed
• Stroller Rule: If pushing a baby jogger/stroller, you must start at the back of the starting coral
• Responsibility: Participants accept full responsibility for pushing a stroller

🏅 Awards & Medals

• Finisher Medals: All participants that complete the race will receive a custom event finishers medal
• Overall Awards: 1st Place for the 'Best Time' in the Men's and Women's Categories
• Age Group Awards: 14 & under, 5 year increments to 90+
• Team Place Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place
