• World Records: Home of THREE Guinness World Records.
• Course: Chip timed, out and back flat course.
• Start/Finish: Begins and ends in a scenic, wooded park.

Timeline

• 6:30 am: Registration/Sign In.
• 7:20 am: National Anthem & Remarks.
• 7:30 am: Half Marathon starts.
• 7:45 am: 10K starts: 8:00 am: 5K starts.

Race Awards

• Attendance: Awards given after the last finishers of the 5K & 10K.
• Ceremony: Rolling awards ceremony for the Half marathon.
• Awards Categories: Top Overall, Top Master (40+), Top 3 in each age group.
• Ages: Divisions for various age groups, including Clydesdale and Athena.

Course Details

• Chip Start: All races have a chip start and finish.
• Scenic Route: Timed race on the streets of Crown Point.
• Layout: All races are out and back courses.
• Start/Finish Location: Lake County Fairgrounds.

Water Stations

• Location: 4 water stops you will pass 8 times along the course.
• Items Available: Water, Gatorade, gels, and cheering volunteers.
• Supporting Runners: Volunteers will encourage participants at each stop.
• Accessibility: Each stop is conveniently spaced for hydration.

Restroom Facilities

• Availability: 3 restrooms/port-a-potties on the course.
• Access: Accessible 6 times along the out and back course.
• Convenience: Facilities strategically located for ease of access.
• Locations: Near water stops for optimal runner convenience.

Time Limit

• Half Marathon: 3 1/2 hour time limit (16:00 min pace).
• Time Cuts: After 3 1/2 hours, the timing system will be removed.
• Consideration: If you cannot maintain pace, consider the 10K.
• Street Reopening: Streets will be reopened for normal traffic.

Cost

• Half: $50.
• 10K: $35.
• 5K: $30.
• KidsPricing: Ages 12 & under: $25: Under 3 are free.

Additional Information

• Shirts: Extra $16 until August 31.

• Packet Pick Up: 6:30 - 7:40 am before the event.
