It all kicks off with a morning 5K through the Vineyards & Lewes-Georgetown Trail plus an all-day festival afterward including:

• Tournaments: Mixed Doubles Pickleball Tournament

• Race Date: Saturday, May 10, 2025
• Race Location: The Cape Gazette, 17585 Nassau Commons Boulevard, Lewes, Delaware. 19958
• Race Time: 5k start at 9 am

📝 Race Registration

• Early Registration: $25.00 through Sunday May 4th at 12 midnight
• Race Week Registration: $30.00 from May 5th to May 9th
• Race Day Registration: $35.00 from 7:30 am - 8:45 am on May 10th

⚠️ Course Etiquette

ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO RUN ON THE COURSE THAT IS MARKED WITH ARROWS AND CONES.

• Road Safety: Please stay on marked paths.
• Disqualification: Failure to follow race instructions may result in disqualification.

👟 Course Guidelines

The following are not allowed in a Seashore Strider event:

• Bikes: Not allowed on the course.
• Bandits: Non-registered runners may not pace registered runners.
• Headphones: Discouraged in both ears for safety.

⏱️ Race Timing

Seashore Strider Event Production will chip time the event using the Chronotrack B chip timing system.

🎽 Race Amenities

• Shirt: Short Sleeve 100% Pre-Shrunk Cotton Race shirts guaranteed to all PRE-Registered participants.
• Post-Run: 2 cans of post-run beer and refreshments.
• Food: Yummy Bagels when available.
• Awards: Custom awards including trophies and medals.

5k Individual Awards for Overall Male & Female, Master Male & Female, and top 3 finishers in age categories.

🚗 Race Parking

• Parking: At Nassau Commons, home of the Cape Gazette.
• Additional Parking: Available at Redners Fresh Market and Nassau Valley Vineyards.

💰 Refunds/Deferrals

The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy, but you may:

• Transfer: to a future event of equal value.
• Donate: your entry fee to the charity associated with the event.
• Defer: to the following year at the same event.
