Join the Seashore Striders for one of the oldest 5k races in "the national Summer Capital" Rehoboth Beach. The 35th Fathers Day 5k Run will be held "live" only. This event is part of the Seashore Strider Championship Series, and raises money every year for the Seashore Strider Youth Cross Country Team...The Future!

📦 Packet Pickup

Packet pickup for the Fathers Day 5k on Sunday will be on Saturday June 14th at the New Balance store from 4-6 PM. New Balance is located on RT One on the right side just before the Hampton Inn and RT 24.

Pick up your packet and then head right to the starting line at Wilmington Ave & the Boards. Parking will be on Rehoboth Avenue & Wilmington Ave with a short walk to the start.

🏅 Awards

Awards will be presented to the Overall Male & Female Champions, Overall Male & Female Masters (40+ yrs.), as well as the top three (3) Male & Female finishers in the following age categories:

• 9 & under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
• Awards will be presented within 20 minutes following the final runner crossing the finish.
• Walk Awards (Medals) will be Top 5 Male & Female.
• If you miss the awards ceremony you may pick up locally in Lewes at 9 Gander Lane, Lewes or your award will be shipped to you at a cost of $10.

📝 Race Registration

Online registration will be done through runsignup. All participants registered by Monday, June 9th will be guaranteed a t-shirt.

• Early Bird Registration: $30.00 through June 1st at midnight
• Pre Registration: $35.00 from June 2nd through June 14th at 10 PM
• Last Chance Race-Day Registration: $40.00 from 6:00 AM to 7:15 AM
• Mail-In Registration: Download, fill out the registration form, and mail it to Seashore Striders C/O Fathers Day 5k, 9 Gander Lane: Lewes, DE. 19958

Timing will be done by the Seashore Strider Event Production team and will use the Chronotrack B Chip system.

👟 Walker Note

The Seashore Striders are introducing a separate 5K WALK DIVISION for five of the eight series events this summer as a trial. This division will allow participants to qualify for the Championship Series.

WALK RULES: Maintain contact with the ground at all times and ensure the leading leg is straightened upon contact. Violation of these rules may lead to disqualification.

💡 Refunds/Deferral Policy

The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy, but offer the following options:

• Transfer to a future Seashore Strider owned event of equal value.
• Donate your entry fee to the charity associated with the event.
• Transfer/Defer to the following year at the same event.
