📅 RACE DESCRIPTION

• Event: Join the Seashore Striders for one of the largest 5k races in the Town of Lewes. The 6th Beebe Heroes 5k Run & 5k Walk.
• Series: The 7th event in the popular Seashore Strider Championship Series.
• Purpose: The Beebe Heroes 5k is a great event raising money every year for the Beebe Medical Foundation.
• Invitation: Come join the Seashore Striders on their starting line. We look forward to being your host!

• Start Time: 7:30 am

📝 RACE REGISTRATION

• Early Bird Fee: $30.00 through June 15th at midnight
• Pre Registration Fee: $35.00 June 16th through June 28th at 10 pm
• Last Chance Fee: $40.00 for Race-Day Registration (open 6:00 am - 7:15 am)
• Registration Info: Registration will be done online through runsignup. All participants registered by Monday, June 23rd, will be guaranteed a t-shirt.

• Course Type: The 6th Beebe Heroes 5k is a flat & fast out & back course through Lewes, just east of the canal.

• Timing Method: Timing will be done by the Seashore Strider Event Production team using the Chronotrack B Chip system.

🎉 RACE AMENITIES

• Finish Line: Produced by “Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc.”
• Post-Race Event: Awards ceremony within 20 minutes following the final finisher, custom printed t's, custom awards, and a great post-race celebration at IRISH EYES!
• Kiddie Dash: Participants will enjoy finisher medals, face painting, balloon artist, and MORE!

🏆 AWARDS

• Categories: Awards will be presented to the Overall Male & Female Champions, Overall Male & Female Masters (40+ yrs.), and top three finishers in 16 age categories.
• Award Ceremony: Awards presented within 20 minutes of the final runner's finish.
• Walk Awards: Top 5 Male & Female.
• Award Pickup: Missed the ceremony? Pick up locally or your award will be shipped for a cost.

🏅 35TH CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES INFO

• Entry Fee: There is no extra fee to enter: automatically entered with regular fees.
• Qualification: Complete a 5 mile race and five 5ks: perform one “Strider Be Kind Good Deed.”
• Age Group: Based on age at the first race entered.
• Standings: Posted at www.seashorestriders.com

🚶‍♂️ WALKER NOTE

• New Division: Separate 5K WALK DIVISION in five events as a trial.
• Technique: Race walking requires maintaining contact with the ground and straightened leading leg.
• Walk Division Events: List of five events including Beebe Hero’s 5k.
• Awards: Top 5 male & female in the WALK division.

🔄 REFUNDS/DEFERRAL

• Policy: The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy.
• Options: Transfer to a future event, donate your entry fee, or defer to next year.
