2025 Town of Windermere Centennial Celebration Orlando Health 5K/10K Run Among the Lakes

🏞️ Race Overview

Windermere is located on a narrow strip of land surrounded by Lake Butler, Lake Down, and Lake Bessie. One hundred years ago, visionaries such as Cal Palmer, J. Howard Johnson, Howard Lyon, and Stanley Scott played key roles in incorporating our beautiful town. Over the past century, Windermere has experienced significant growth and development, establishing itself as a thriving community while maintaining the charm of its dirt roads and lake shores.

Join us in celebrating Windermere’s Centennial by signing up for the 2025 Run Among the Lakes!

This scenic run takes participants through Windermere’s dirt roads, passing under a canopy of century-old oaks and along our lakes. This family-friendly event benefits the Town of Windermere Parks and Recreation.

• When: Saturday, October 11, 2025
• Where: Town Hall at 520 Main Street, Windermere, FL 34786

🏃‍♀️ Race Options

Participants have two race options:

• 10K: Starts at 7:00 AM, run-only event, complete the course within one hour and thirty minutes.
• 5K: Starts at 7:35 AM, participants may run or walk.

The Kids Run is free for all children aged 7 and younger, and no registration is required. Please note that Kids Run participants will not receive an event t-shirt.

🎽 Participant Perks

All runners will receive a custom t-shirt and a unique commemorative finisher medal.

To guarantee your correct t-shirt size, please register before September 2, 2025.

Registration is capped at 1,200 runners/walkers, and this race will fill up quickly!

🏆 Awards

Awards are given to the Top 3 Overall Male & Female, Male Masters & Female Masters. Age group awards are given in 10-year increments for both the 5K and 10K. Each participant is eligible for only one award.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

Packet Pick-Up will take place:

• Thursday, 10/9/2025 and Friday, 10/10/2025 - 3 PM - 6 PM
• Saturday 10/11/2025 - 6 AM - 7:30 AM at Windermere Town Hall, 520 Main Street, Windermere, FL 34786.

Packets, medals and awards may be picked up at Windermere Town Office, 614 Main Street, Windermere, FL, for 2 weeks AFTER the event.
