Lace up your athletic shoes and join the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County for the 11th Annual Heroes For Education 5K on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at John Prince Park in Lake Worth. This exciting and inspiring event promotes health and wellness, while also raising money and support for the A-rated School District of Palm Beach County!

• 6 a.m.: Race Day Registration
• 7:15 a.m.: Kids 1-Mile Fun Run (Ages 12 and Under)
• 7:30 a.m.: Warm Up
• 7:45 a.m.: 5K Run/Walk (Chip Timed)
• 8:45 a.m.: School Mascot Race
• 9 a.m.: Kids 100-Yard Dash (Ages 7 and Under)
• 9:15 a.m.: Awards Ceremony

• 5K Run/Walk (Before October 5, 2025): $35
• 5K Run/Walk (Before October 5, 2025, SDPBC Employees): $25
• 5K Run/Walk (Day Of Race): $40

• Kids 1-Mile Fun Run: $20

• Heroes Awards: $1,250 - Top Participating Team (Overall)
• Team Awards: $1,000 - Top Participating Team in each category (Elementary, Middle, High School)
• Fastest Team Awards: $500 - 1st Place: $300 - 2nd Place: $200 - 3rd Place

🏆 Special Events

• School Mascot Dash: Only for costumed mascots: $250 for the fastest mascot: $100 for participation
• Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place awards for various age categories

🎖️ Participation Recognition

All children who compete in the Kids 1-Mile Fun Run and Kids 100-Yard Dash will receive a finisher medal!
