The 2nd Annual JCBC Jaunt 5k & Fun Run Benefitting Autrey Mill Nature Preserve

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Simply put, we love our neighbors and we love being a part of the greater Johns Creek community. We are always looking for reasons to gather and ways to have some fun together, and we are always looking for ways to pour back into the community we love so much. And so, Johns Creek Baptist Church is happy to announce the 2nd annual JCBC Jaunt 5k and 1mile Fun Run! Each year, proceeds from the race go to a different community partner whose work beautifully impacts and enriches community life. This year, proceeds will benefit Autrey Mill Nature Preserve - a collection of talented and passionate people who love our neighbors too - in so many different ways!

👕 Registration Details

• 5k Registration: Includes a super-stylish JCBC Jaunt T-Shirt and swag bag.
• Fun Run Registration: No registration fee for the 1Mile Fun Run.
• T-Shirt Purchase: JCBC Jaunt T-Shirts for Fun Run participants are available for purchase.
• Note: T-shirt cut off date is October 3rd...so don't delay!

🗓️ Check-in, Bibs, and T-Shirt Pick-up

• Check-in Time: Begins at 7:30 AM.
• Bibs and T-Shirts: Pick up your bibs and t-shirts at check-in.

🏆 Awards

• Awards Ceremony: Begins at approximately 9:30 AM.
• Top Finishers: Top 3 Male and Female Overall.
• Age Groups: Top 3 Male and Female in the age groups 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
• Fun Run Start: 1Mile Fun Run to begin after the Awards Ceremony at approximately 9:45.

🎉 More Fun Stuff

• Raffle: Everyone who registers for the 5k is automatically entered into a raffle for some neat prizes.
• Food: Jersey Mike's will be on hand providing a variety of delicious bite-sized subs!
• Activities for Kids: Autrey Mill Nature Preserve will be on hand with some fun stuff for kids of participants in the 5k and Fun Run.

🚗 Race Day Tips

After turning in to Cauley Creek Park from Bell Road, follow the signs to the 5k Staging Area. There you will find event check in, parking and bathrooms. Additional parking is available adjacent to the sports fields - just a few hundred feet from the 5k Staging Area. Bathrooms are also located at the sports fields.

Well...they're nice people. And they're cool. But more than that, the good folks at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve believe that every child deserves a chance to explore and discover the magic of the outdoors - regardless of ability or income.

Whether it’s the thrill of discovering a salamander on a shaded trail, the joy of roasting marshmallows at camp, learning about local history, or the quiet wonder of listening to birds sing—these experiences should be for all children, not just those who can afford it. That’s why Autrey Mill provides camp scholarships to families in need and thoughtfully adapts their programs for children with medical challenges and different abilities. Our support helps Autrey Mill Nature Preserve keep saying “yes” to every child who needs a place to belong, grow, and thrive in nature.

Johns Creek Baptist Church (and the whole Johns Creek Community!) is pleased to have a chance to help open the woods to everyone with the proceeds from the 2nd Annual JCBC Jaunt.
