4th Annual Empowering Children 5K presented by Heal the Planet

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Description: Small act, huge impact. Join us on Sunday September 14, 2025 at T.Y. Park to celebrate our future change makers. Lush with Live Oaks and scenic views, soak up nature's beauty on this meaningful run/walk around TY Park lake.
• Timing: The 4th Annual Empowering Children 5K presented by Heal The Planet is chipped time and awards will be provided to the top 3 (male and female) for overall and age groups.
• Distance: Participants also have a 1 Mile Run/Walk option. The 1 Mile will also be chipped timed and start at 7:45am.
• Perks: Each participant will receive a custom race bib with RFID timing chip, Heal The Planet 5K event shirt, and sustainable finisher medal.

📅 Event Schedule

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

• Pre-Race packet pickup: Friday September 12, 2025, 4:00 - 6:30pm at Runner's Depot - Davie, 2233 S. University Drive, Davie, FL 33324.
• Race Day: Sunday September 14, 2025 at Charnow Park, 300 Connecticut St, Hollywood, FL 33019.
• 6:15am: Registration and packet pickup open.
• 8:45am: Awards Ceremony.

The race starts at 7:30am for the Empower Children 5K followed by the 1 Mile Run/Walk at 7:40am.
