Join us for a vibrant coastal sunrise at Charnow Park on Sunday, September 21, 2025, as we honor and support the inspiring young people shaping our world. After the race, participate in a community beach cleanup, explore engaging educational vendors, and enjoy fun-filled activities for children.

🏆 Race Details

• Timing: The 4th Annual Empowering Children 5K presented by Heal The Planet is chipped time.
• Awards: Awards will be provided to the top 3 (male and female) for overall and age groups.
• Options: Participants can also choose a 1 Mile Run/Walk option, starting at 7:45am.
• Perks: Each participant will receive a custom race bib with RFID timing chip, Heal The Planet 5K event shirt, and sustainable finisher medal.

🌱 About Heal The Planet

Mission: Heal The Planet provides impactful free programs to Broward County students that empower them to make better choices for themselves and have a greater awareness of how they can positively affect the health and well-being of themselves, our community, and the planet.

This inspiring day is designed for the whole family, and your registration will help Heal The Planet continue to fulfill its mission as we Heal The Planet Together.

📅 Event Schedule

• Pre-Race Packet Pickup: Friday, September 19, 2025, from 4:00 - 6:30pm at Runner's Depot - Davie, 2233 S. University Drive, Davie, FL 33324.
• Registration Opens: 6:15am on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
• Vendors Open: 6:30am.
• Awards Ceremony: 8:45am.

🏁 Race Day Timeline

• 6:45am - Music and entertainment begin
• 7:10am - 5K fitness warmup
• 7:25am - Announcements and National Anthem
• 7:30am - Start of the Empower Children 5K
• 7:40am - Start of the Empower Children 1 Mile Run/Walk
