Etown Trail Classic

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: The Etown Trail Classic is a challenging and FUN event that will take place at the Hardin County Fairgrounds in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
• Course: Enjoy some beautiful Kentucky summer weather on a 3.2-mile well-maintained trail.
• Options: You can run the 8-hour endurance ultra or run the 5k, either as an individual or as a part of a 2-person relay team.

💧 Support and Atmosphere

• Aid Station: A hydration and nutrition aid station will be available for runners.
• Entertainment: Music and a high-energy atmosphere will be waiting for you at the completion of each lap!
• Spectators: Friends and family will enjoy numerous spectator viewing spots located around the course.
• Objective: The objective of the 8-hour ultra is to run as many loops as you can or want to in 8 hours.

🏅 Awards

• Top Finishers: Awards will be given for the top male/female/team finishers based on mileage completed in the 8-hour ultra.
• Finisher's Prize: All runners will receive a finisher's prize.
• 5K Awards: The 5K will have awards for the top 3 overall male and female runners, as well as overall under 12 kids' awards.

🎪 PIT AREA

• Setup: Runners are able to set up chairs and blankets (no larger than 10x10) in the field past the start/finish line.
• Tents: Tents are also welcome for those wanting a little extra space.

🎗️ Our Purpose

• Proceeds: All proceeds from this race will go to the TKS Middle School Cheer Team to help reduce the cost on families for uniforms and competition fees.
• Tshirt Deadline: The last day for guaranteed t-shirts at registration will be June 14th.
