• 1 Mile: Starts at 8:00 am
• 5K: Starts at 8:30 am
• Kid's Entertainment: Fun jump and activities available
• Refreshments: Water, sports drinks, fruit, donuts, and Cajun cuisine

Event Overview

Join us this year in person for our 11th Annual Ush One See 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run held in beautiful River Ranch Town Square and presented by Ush One See, Inc. Ush One See, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in honor of our son, Hunter Faucheaux. This non-profit was created to:

• Raise Awareness: About Usher Syndrome in the Acadiana area
• Funding Research: For a potential cure to stop vision loss from Usher Syndrome Type 1C
• Community Impact: Fight for sight and be part of a revolution that finds a cure
• Get Involved: Your participation makes a difference in Acadiana!

Team Registration

Be on the lookout for TEAM registration - you will have the option to start or join a team. Team collaborations may include:

• Team Shirts: Some teams will have team shirts, with ordering handled separately
• Questions: For inquiries, please email ushonesee@gmail.com.
• T-shirts & Tanks: Available for purchase on race day
• Shirts Deadline: Order by Tuesday, August 25, 2026, to guarantee availability

Packet Pickup

Dates & Locations:

• Friday, September 18th: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
• Where: Community Foundation of Acadiana, 1035 Camellia Blvd, Ste 100, Lafayette, LA 70508
• Race Day Pickup: Start at 7:00 am at River Ranch Town Square

Registration Fees

• 1 Mile Early Bird: $25 (by 08/26)
• 5K Early Bird: $30 (by 08/26)
• Regular Registration: $30 for 1 Mile ($35 for 5K), 08/27 - 09/17
• Race Day: $40 for 1 Mile ($45 for 5K)

Note: Race registration will be unavailable on 09/18/2026. In-person race registration will resume at 7:00 am on race day.

Age Groups

• 5K: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
• 1 Mile: 3 and under, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13

Awards

• 1 Mile Fun Run: Top overall Male & Female and 1st, 2nd, 3rd for Male & Female in age group 13 and under ONLY
• 5K: Top Overall Male & Female with awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd for each age group
• Visually Impaired: Top Overall Male & Female for 1 Mile and 5K
