2025 Southbury Turkey Trot 5K & Kids Fun Run

🗓️ Event Schedule

• When: Thursday, November 27th, 2025. Race begins at 8:30 a.m. sharp. Kid’s Fun Run begins at 8:00 a.m.

📍 Location

• Where: Maxx 365 Fitness Studio, 730 Main Street South, Southbury, CT off I-84, Exit 14.

👥 Team Competition

• Eligibility: Teams must have a minimum of 3 participants but no maximum.
• Registration: You must register a team name during the registration process to be eligible.

🏃‍♂️ 5K Registration

• Early Registration: Register early to secure your spot and race shirt as we are expecting the race and shirts to sell out!!
• Cost: Pre-registration is online now for $30.00, plus 50% of the processing fees (the other 50% will be paid by the SWC).
• Deadline: The deadline for online registration is Tuesday midnight, November 25th. There will be no race day registration.
• T-Shirts: T-Shirts are preordered and not available after November 1st. Adult T-shirt sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL. No refunds.

👶 Kid’s Fun Run Registration

• Pre-registration: Pre-registration online is $10.00, plus 50% of the processing fees (the other 50% will be paid by the SWC).

🏁 Race Course

• Certification: USATF CERTIFIED COURSE.
• Route: The course route goes down Main Street South then turns right onto Oak Tree Road and then a left hand turn back on to Main Street South.
• Terrain: Flat and fast!

🏆 Awards

• Eligibility: For overall race winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd places) there must be at least 100 people registered per gender category for awards to be given for that gender.
• Age Group Awards: For age group specific categories, there must be at least 10 people registered per gender category for awards to be given for that gender.
• Timing: All awards will be based on GUN TIME.

🤝 Beneficiaries

• The majority of the proceeds from the Southbury Turkey Trot will benefit the Southbury Food Bank, Southbury Fuel Bank and Southbury Helping Hands.
