Abby Furco Memorial Color Fun Run 2025

🎉 Welcome to the Abby Furco Memorial Color Fun Run 2025!

Let's Do This Again! We are excited for our FOURTH annual event! Registration is open now.

Join us on Sunday, October 19th for the FOURTH Annual Abby Furco Memorial Color Fun Run honoring Abby, our beloved friend who passed away too soon along with supporting and loving ALL those affected by childhood cancer.

🏁 Event Highlights

• Course: Our color fun run/walk is a non-bib, approx. 5k course filled with color stations throughout.
• Participation: You can run, walk, push a stroller...bring your entire family & friends!!
• Celebration: Come out and celebrate life while also giving back to foundations that helped Abby, her family, and other childhood cancer fighters!
• Fundraiser: All proceeds (goal being all entries and donations) to the charities St. Baldrick's Foundation, EDMARC, and Abby's Legacy Foundation.

💸 Event Entry

• Cost: $25 per adult participant
• Cost: $15 per 18 and under participant
• T-Shirt: All participants will receive a white race T-shirt with logo and sunglasses to wear during the race.
• Deadline: Sign up by midnight October 5th to guarantee your T-shirt size event day.

📍 Event Details

• Date: Sunday, October 19, 2025
• Location: Lago Mar Park at Back Bay, 801 Casa Verde Way, Virginia Beach, VA 23456.
• Rain or Shine: Event will take place rain or shine, watch the website and social media for updates.
• Parking: Please come towards the park area from the Nimmo Pkwy direction.

⏰ Event Timeline

• 9am - 9:40am: Runner check-in
• 9:45am: Start line warm-up
• 10am: Color fun run start
• Post-Race: Festival music, snacks & fun to follow.

Please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form at Volunteer Interest Form to sign up or contact Patty at pattylynn1@aol.com.

• Race T-shirt: You will be provided a race t-shirt for helping.
• Check-in: Volunteer check-in times will be emailed out as the race gets closer.
• Dual Roles: If you want to volunteer and race, please note that on the interest form.
• Need Help: We need many, many hands - thank you!
