Join us for the first annual Heart & Sole 5K, a heartfelt event in memory of Rowan Jo, a beautiful soul we lost in January 2025 to a congenital heart defect. This race is a celebration of Rowan’s life, the joy she brought to those around her, and the light she continues to shine in our hearts.
Beneficiary Information
All proceeds from the Heart & Sole 5K will benefit Dell Children’s Medical Center, supporting congenital heart defect (CHD) research and assisting families navigating similar journeys. Dell Children’s holds a special place in our hearts, as they were set to perform Rowan’s transplant.
- Goal: Support vital research and innovations in the treatment of congenital heart defects.
- Impact: Advance early detection and improve surgical outcomes.
- Hope: Provide more time, answers, and hope for families facing CHD.

Registration Details
Packet Pickup will be available at Back Forty Brewery Saturday February 7, 2026 from 12-4 PM.
- 5K Awards: Top 3 Overall Male and Female for chip-timed racers.
- 1K Awards: Finisher Medals for participants.
- Virtual Racers: Note that they do not qualify for medal awards as they are not chip-timed.
- Deadline: Register by January 23, 2026 to guarantee a t-shirt with registration.
