Bulldog Breakaway New Year's 5K 2026

🎉 Brief Description

• Event: Come join us for a 5K run for the new year.
• Registration: On Race Day, 7:00 to 7:45am will be late registration and packet pickup.
• Start Time: The Race will begin promptly at 8:00am.
• Awards: We will then have awards after the race on the track.

🏁 The Course

• Certification: This USATF certified 5K begins on the track at The Citadel.
• Route: Participants will run a lap around campus, go through Summerall gate, run a lap around Hampton Park, return through Summerall gate, and finish on the track.

🚗 Parking

• Location: Parking will be available near the track on The Citadel's campus.

📝 Day of Race Registration

• Time: Registration the day of the race will be available from 7:00-7:45am.
• Fee: $30 paid on the day of the race.

📦 Packet Pick-up

• Time: Race numbers and packets can be picked up from 7:00-7:45am.
• Location: Pick-up will be on the track at The Citadel.

💧 Water and Restrooms

• Water Stops: Water stops will be available throughout the course and near the finish.
• Restrooms: Facilities will be available near the track.

📊 Results

• Posting: Results will be posted on this website as soon as computations are complete.

ℹ️ Additional Information

• Entry Fee: With t-shirt: $30 before Dec 26, $35 between Dec 27 - Jan 6.
• Entry Fee without t-shirt: $20 before Dec 27, $25 between Dec 27 - Jan 6.
