Race Overview
- Event: A summer tradition at the Jersey Shore! Fun 5k run/walk through beautiful Sea Girt, NJ.
- Community: Great community event with Kids' Races and Activities, live music on the course, custom t-shirt, chip timing, medals and more!
- Beneficiary: The 35th Annual Sea Girt 5K will benefit Sea Girt Recreation and The Jersey Shore Dream Center.

Registration Details
- Please Donate: Please consider donating to the Jersey Shore Dream Center during registration.
- Race Date: Saturday, August 1, 2026.
- Early Bird Registration: $33 through May 1st, $38 after.
- Kids' Race Fee: $12 through May 1st, $15 after.
Race Day Information
- 5K Run/Walk/Roll: Starts at 8:30 AM. Includes custom t-shirt, bib with chip timing, medal, live music on course, and after-party.
- Kids' Races: Starts at 10:00 AM. Short sprints from 25 – 400 yards based on age group.
- Timing: Not timed, no prizes awarded. Includes t-shirt, goody bag and Kids' Activities.
- Kids' Activities: 8:30 – 11:00 AM. Inflatables, Pony Rides, Face Painting & More.
Registration and Pickup
- Race Bib Mailing: Race bib will be mailed to you if registered by July 10th – first mailout on or about June 15th.
- Pickup: Must bring your Race Bib to pick up T-Shirt!
- Times for Pickup: 4 - 7 PM – Friday, July 31st and 6:30 - 8:30 AM – Saturday, August 1st.
- Location: Tents by Sea Girt Library – 801 The Plaza, Sea Girt, NJ 08750.
Important Notes
- Weather Policy: Race is rain or shine. Will only be postponed if weather is a danger to participants (lightning, hurricane).
- Collecting T-Shirts: Must be present to collect t-shirt or any giveaway. No refunds, transfers, credits or exchanges.
- Kids’ Activities: May be cancelled due to rain, but races will happen unless the main race is postponed.
