🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Location: Bluhm County Park, 3855 S 1100 W, Westville, IN 46391
• Date: 2026-02-21
• Start Time: 8:00 am (Central Time)
• Packet Pick-Up: Begins at 7:15 am

🎽 Runner Perks

• Shirts: Limited-edition long sleeve cotton shirt while supplies last.
• Gear: Each runner will receive a winter hat and gloves (one-size-fits-all).
• Timing: Manual timing - wear your bib on the front of your shirt.
• Finishers: All finishers can choose an item from the "prize table" including race shirts, mugs, and hats.

🏞️ Course Details

• Loops: The course consists of 4 loops, each 3.4 miles in length.
• Terrain: Mostly single track dirt trails with switchbacks and tree roots.
• Course Markings: Flags, arrow signs, and survey tape will mark the course.
• Cut-Off: There is a 4 hour and 30 minute cut-off for the race.

💧 Aid Stations

• Location: One aid station will be at the shelter providing water, Gatorade, and pre-packaged snacks.
• Proximity: You will be near your cars and bathrooms each loop.
• Storage: A picnic table will be set up for personal items.
• Note: No aid will be on the course itself.

🏅 Awards and Recognition

• Winners: Overall winners will receive Ice Spikes, a Yeti figure, and a Starbucks gift card.
• Ceremony: There will be no awards ceremony.
• Prize Table: All finishers can pick an item from the prize table.
• Items: Include old race shirts, mugs, and hats.

🌍 Inclusivity and Acknowledgment

• Mission: The Crazy Legs Race Series promotes non-pavement/pavement races in Northwest Indiana.
• Participation: All individuals are encouraged to participate regardless of gender identity or expression.
• Transgender Runners: May register as the gender they identify with: no documentation required.
• Land Acknowledgment: We acknowledge the land of the Miami, Shawnee, and Illinois Nations.
