Race Description

• Community Celebration: Join us for the Lake Como Day 5k along the local streets and around the beautiful Lake Como.
• Anniversary: Lake Como is celebrating its 102nd anniversary as its own municipality.
• History: The borough changed its name from South Belmar in January of 2005.
• Beneficiaries: Proceeds will benefit Lake Como Youth Recreation Programs & Youth Facilities.

Registration Information

• Early Bird: $30 Online Early Bird Registration through 7/31 (JSRC Members 10% discount).
• Pre-Registration: $35 Online Pre-Registration (8/1 through 9/19).
• Race Week: $40 (9/20 through 9/26).

Event Day Schedule

• Location: Joe's Surf Shack, 415 18th Ave., Lake Como, NJ.
• Late Registration: 7:30 AM - 8:45 AM - Late Registration, T-shirt & Bib pick up.
• Start Time: 9:00 AM - 5k Run.
• Awards: 10:00 AM - Award Ceremony.

Awards

• Location: Awards at Joe's Surf Shack at approx. 10:00 AM on race day – No mailings.
• Categories: Overall – Top 3 Male/Female.
• Resident Awards: Lake Como Full Time Resident – Top Male/Female.
• Age Groups: Top 3 Male/Female for age groups 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.

Donations

• Support: Please consider making a donation during registration.
• Program: The Lake Como Youth Recreation Program provides youngsters a safe environment to play.

Post Race Party

• Celebration: After the race, join the post-race celebration at Joe's Surf Shack.
