Race Overview
Join us for the 2026 Fleet Feet Birmingham XC 2-Miler presented by Brooks — a high-energy 2-mile time trial designed for local middle and high school cross country teams, as well as individual XC athletes looking to test their fitness. Following the boys and girls races, an open division 2-mile race will be offered for non cross country runners that would like to test their 2-mile times!
This community-focused event brings runners together on a fast, established cross country course at Veterans Park in Hoover, AL. Whether you’re chasing a PR, building early-season confidence, or racing alongside teammates, this event is built to deliver a competitive and memorable experience.

- Girls Heat: 6:15 PM
- Open Heat: 7 PM

Registration Pricing
- Individual Entry: $20 for individuals
- Team Pricing: Team pricing is $5 off per participant when registering 5+ runners together. Select multi person pricing and create a team on the registration page.

What to Expect
- Race Atmosphere: A true cross country race atmosphere to test your fitness on a 2-mile course right before the season.
- Participant Swag Bags: Swag bags for each participant at packet pickup.
- Prizes: Huge prizes will be up for grabs so stay tuned for details.
- Merchandise: Special edition XC 2-miler shirts will be available for purchase. A Fleet Feet x Brooks pop up shop featuring the special edition Fleet Feet exclusive color of the Draft XC spike will also be available. Very limited quantities will be available.
Post-Race Events
- Party: A post race party with music, awards ceremony and much, much more!
- Vendor Village: Vendor Village with other local businesses. A chance to connect with local teams and coaches.
