Come enjoy a 1.4 mile walk or 2.8 mile run and a day of fun activities in support of NBCAWR!
Registration Information
- Early Bird Registration: $45 (starts June 15th: ends Aug. 9th)
- Late Registration: $55 (starts Aug. 10th: closes Sep. 11th)
- Registration Includes: event t-shirt, swag bag, light breakfast, lunch, drinks, and raffle ticket.
Activities
- Fun Zone: carnival games, jump house, balloon artist and face painting.
- Extra Fun Stuff: Mammo van onsite for screenings, health booths, exercise, Garden of Hope, honoring of Breast Cancer survivors, traditional healing, live entertainment.
- Screening Appointment: Please call 916-683-6000 ext. 2011 to make an appointment for a Mammogram Screening on the day of!
Our Journey
To increase breast cancer awareness and screening, especially for Native American women. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death for Native American women. It's estimated that approximately 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer in her lifetime. Our goal is to raise awareness and encourage women to screen early.
Packet Pickup
- When: Friday, October 9th (Office closed on Oct. 12th)
- Time: 2PM - 6PM
- Location: Wilton Rancheria Tribal Warehouse (9728 Kent Street, Elk Grove)
- Parking: Available in the parking lot in front of the warehouse or on the street.

- 10:18 AM Wave 2 - Walkers

- 11:20 AM Honoring of Survivors
- 12:15 PM Lunch + Entertainment (Paul Steward)
- 1:15 PM Raffle (final items)
- 2:00 PM Closing Prayer
- 8AM - 11AM - Coffee available (until last drip)
- 11AM - 2PM - Kona Ice available
- Raffle waves are announced throughout the event
