KC Metro Mile Championship

Event Overview

Join us for a fun night on the track at the 2026 Kansas City Metro Mile Championships presented by KC Running Company, Mizuno, and B and B Race KC. The KC Metro Mile Championships will pit top talent from the area against each other in one of the best competitions of the year!

Race Details

• Non-Qualifier Events: The Kids Miles and new Community Mile are open to everyone.
• Entry Limits: The qualifier events have a limited number of entries available, ensuring no race has more than 24 entries.
• High School Divisions: Multiple divisions for High School Athletes will be created based on recent qualifying times.
• Entry Refunds: If your qualifying time does not make the final cut for your race, you will be refunded your entry fees.

800M Showcase

800M Showcase athletes must apply by submitting times to stevenb@:kcrunningcompany.com.

Elite Qualifiers

• Top Submissions: For the Elite Male and Elite Female miles, the top 20 submitted times will be eligible to compete.

• Men's Open Mile: 7:05 PM
• Boys High School Open: 7:20 PM
• Boys High School Bronze: 7:35 PM
• Boys High School Silver: 7:50 PM
• 800M Girls Showcase: 8:05 PM
• 800M Boys Showcase: 8:15 PM
• Girls High School Gold: 8:25 PM
• Boys High School Gold: 8:40 PM
• Women's Elite Mile: 8:55 PM
• Men's Elite Mile: 9:10 PM
• Girls High School Elite: 9:25 PM
• Boys High School Elite: 9:40 PM
