Event Overview
Join us for a fun night on the track at the 2026 Kansas City Metro Mile Championships presented by KC Running Company, Mizuno, and B and B Race KC. The KC Metro Mile Championships will pit top talent from the area against each other in one of the best competitions of the year!
Events and Participation
- Kids Miles and Community Mile: Non-qualifier events and open to everyone.
- Qualifier Events: Limited number of entries with no more than 24 entries per race.
- High School Divisions: Multiple divisions for High School Athletes will be created.
- Entry Verification: All submitted times must be verified: refunds will be given for unqualified entries.
Showcase Events
- 800M Showcase: Athletes must apply by submitting times to stevenb@kcrunningcompany.com.
- Elite Events: Top 20 submitted times for Elite Male and Elite Female miles will compete.
Schedule of Events
The 2026 Event will feature 21 races! Please arrive at least one hour prior to the start of your race.
- Race 1: Community Mile - 5:15PM
- Race 2: Kids 9 & Under - 5:30PM
- Race 3: Kids 10 & Up - 5:45PM
- Race 4: Men's Masters - 6:00PM
Additional races will continue through the event with various categories for competitors.
Day of Packet Pickup
- Location: Rockhurst HS, Track Entrance
- Time: 4PM - 8PM
