About this race
The NC Seafood Festival is bringing back the Twin Bridges Race October 3, 2026!
The 2026 NC Seafood Festival includes the Twin Bridges Race, a certified 8K runner's course, perfect for beginners and veterans alike. The event kicks off at the NOAA Laboratory in Beaufort and takes the scenic route over the Morehead City Bridge, through historic downtown Morehead City, over the Atlantic Beach Bridge, and ends at the finish line right on the AB Causeway! This race is a chance to test your endurance and experience the camaraderie of a mini-marathon, with captivating views over two bridges and the incredible scenery of the Crystal Coast. Grab your running shoes, we'll see you in October!

REGISTRATION FEES & DATES: 8K - $45.00 through August 31; $55 through September 30; $60 through race day

All participants will receive a certificate with their final time.
Check-in begins at 7:00 am Saturday, October 3, and remains open until race begins.
PARKING:
Participants can park at the AB Causeway shopping center no later than 0730 and will be bussed to the start. Busses will begin shuttling runners at 0700. No vehicles will be allowed on Pivers Island. If participants choose to get dropped off they will have to dismount at the intersection of State Road 105 and Pivers Island Rd. From there they will have to walk .25 mile onto Pivers Island to the race start.
