EVENT INFORMATION

EVENT LOCATION: Casa Vieja Brewery, 4541 Corrales Rd., Corrales, NM 87048

IMPORTANT: NO PARKING AT CASA VIEJA BREWERY. See “PARKING” INFORMATION BELOW.

AGE REQUIREMENT: This is an over-21 event - an ID will be required at Casa Vieja Brewery to receive your complimentary glass of wine at the finish.

EVENT SCHEDULE

DATE: Saturday, May 9, 2026

TIME: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

5K START: 9:00 a.m.

AGE LIMIT: ADULTS ONLY – 21 AND OLDER

EVENT START

LOCATION: Wells Fargo Bank, 4341 Corrales Rd., Corrales, NM 87048

The start of the 5K is located south of the Wells Fargo Bank on West La Entrada Rd. Please stay on the side of the road or parking lot until the race director directs you to the start.

PACKET PICKUP AND LATE REGISTRATION

DATE: May 8, 2026

TIME: 3:00-5:00 P.M.

LOCATION: New Balance Store, 3731 Ellison Rd. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114

Please note: Race-day registration is available: however, all pre-registered participants must pick up their event packets at “Packet Pick-Up.”

PARKING

PARKING AVAILABLE: Near the start and finish at Anderson Lot and Gonzales Lot, located on the west side of Corrales Road. Look for “RUNFIT PARKING SIGNS.”

Please do not park in the Wells Fargo parking lot.

EVENT DAY CONDUCT

All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner toward the community and fellow participants during the event.

RESULT TIMING

All participants are assigned an electronic timing device prior to the event, which is attached to their bib.

RESULT DISQUALIFICATION

Participants found to be wearing two or more Event-issued electronic timing devices during the race will be disqualified.

PARTICIPANT SAFETY

The use of wheeled devices by participants or any other person authorized to be on the course shall be strictly limited to authorized and registered wheelchair participants.

PORTABLE TOILETS

Portable toilets are available near the start.

MEDICAL SUPPORT

Medical staff members will be ready to assist you at any time. Please hydrate throughout the day.

FINISH INFORMATION

The overall and division award winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on race day.

Headphones: Yes, but athletes competing for prizes may not use electronic devices.

Dogs: No, please leave your dogs at home.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

Weather forecasts will be monitored before the event. Severe weather updates will also be sent to participants via email as necessary.

Results will be posted immediately at the finish and online at www.irunfit.org.
