Welcome back to the Jim Thorpe Run as an in-person event in 2024! This mainstay of the New Mexico running schedule is hosted by the Native Health Initiative as a fundraiser for our Sports Warriors program. Join us on June 15th at the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute for a 2-mile Fun Walk, 5k Race, 1k Youth Run, and a Toddler Dash.

🏆 Age Group Awards

5k Race: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+
1k Youth Run: 7 and under, 8-9, 10-12

🗓️ Event Schedule

June 15th:
Pack Pick-up and on-site registration at SIPI: 6:30 – 8:00 am
2-mile Fun Walk: 7:30 am
5k Race: 8:30 am
1k Youth Run: 9:30 am
Toddler Dash: 9:45 am
Awards: 10:00 am
Traditional Pueblo throw: after awards

June 14th at Heart and Sole Sports (San Mateo location) from 1:00-6:00 pm.
