🦖 Welcome to the TyRUNnosaurus Run

Register today for the 6th Annual TyRUNnosaurus 5K, Kids 1-Mile, 1-Mile Family Walk, and Kids K scheduled for September 21, 2025, to benefit the Museum of Natural History Foundation to advance the cultural and scientific programs and purposes of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History &: Science. The Foundation’s objectives are to receive, raise, and administer funds for the benefit of the Museum and to provide the Museum with a broad base of community support.

🏃‍♂️ Course Details

• Course Type: Enjoy this flat and fast-looped course through the historic Sawmill District and Historic Old Town.
• Start Location: Due to construction, the start of this race will be held across the street at the Museum's Research &: Collections building and parking lot, located North of Explora.

🎖️ Participants Benefits

🏅 Awards and Recognition

• Overall Prizes: Awards will be given to the top three men and women determined by gun time.
• Age Group Prizes: The top three finishers in age categories will receive awards.
• Kids K Awards: All participants (11 and under) in the Kids K will receive a special recognition award at the finish.
• Family Participation: Participants for the Family 1-Mile must register but those already signed up for the 5K or Kids K can join without additional registration.

🚿 Facilities and Support

• Bathroom Facilities: Bathrooms are available near the start/finish.
• Medical Support: Medical staff will be ready to assist you at any time.
• Parking: Please use designated parking areas only. Do not park on roads, sidewalks, or pedestrian pathways.
• Lost & Found: A Lost & Found will be available on race day for any lost items.

⚠️ Race Guidelines

• Timing Chip: All participants must wear a visible timing chip/bib on the front of their clothing.
• Electronic Devices: Running with headphones is allowed, but those competing for prizes cannot use them.
• Wheeled Devices Policy: Only authorized competitive wheelchair participants are allowed: all other wheeled devices are prohibited.
• Weather Policy: Weather conditions will be monitored, and updates provided on drastic weather changes.
