🏃 Race Details

• The Trumbull Sunset Run: Established in the 80s, this event is one of the oldest runs in the area hosted by the Trumbull Rotary.
• Support: Appreciation for the Trumbull Parks and Rec Department and the Town of Trumbull for their cooperation in organizing this family event.
• Free Entry: Veterans and current US military members can run for free with valid ID at bib pickup.

📅 Event Calendar

• May 30: Registration opens - Limited to 150 participants.
• July 1: Registration fees increase for participants 19 & over.
• July 14: Deadline for guaranteed shirt sizing.
• July 22: Final registration fee increase for participants 19 & over.

🎉 Event Day - July 26

• 5:00 pm: Pickup bib, shirt, swag.
• 6:15 pm: Free kids run.
• 6:30 pm: Start of 5K run/walk, followed by snacks & awards.
• Note: Online registration only in compliance with CT event guidelines.

🏆 5K Run Prizes & Awards

• Champion Trophies: Mens & Women's champions.
• Awards: Top 3 in various age groups ranging from 9 & under to 70+.

🌟 Benefiting the Community

This event supports local organizations and initiatives including the Trumbull 3rd graders' dictionary project, Trumbull Senior Citizens programs, scholarships for high school seniors, robotics, arts, and various regional charitable organizations.
