Military Matters VeteRUN 5K Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Welcome to the Annual Military Matters VeteRUN 5k!

Anyone can run/walk in support of Military Matters! We will be hosting multiple organizations who support our local veterans, and will have fun family activities available for all who attend.

Proceeds: Proceeds from the 5k will go to Military Matters, a program that fills the gap in legal services to military service members and veterans. To learn more about the program visit militarymatterskc.org.

Racecourse: See below for a map of the racecourse. PLEASE NOTE: We have updated the race course to be the same start/end point to ensure better accuracy of your race times. Please take caution if you plan to run/walk with a stroller or wheelchair as the route is typical sidewalk-width.

T-Shirts & Swag: PLEASE NOTE: We hope to be able to provide each participant with a t-shirt, however please be understanding if we run out.

📅 Race Information:

Packet Pick-Up:
Packet pick-up will take place the morning of the race, April 18, starting at 7:00AM.
NOTE: Register by April 4 to receive a t-shirt.

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM: Race Day Registration Opens/Packet Pick-Up
• 8:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk Starts
• 8:45 AM: Kids fun run following the 5k
• 9:00 AM: Awards on the North Lawn

Awards:
Awards will be given to the top overall female and male, the top overall female and male veteran, and the top males and females in each age group (19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+).
