Race Overview

• Event Date: February 22, 2026
• Location: 2500 Research Park Dr, Davis, CA
• Routes: 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and a family-friendly 2K Fun Run/Walk
• Starting/Finishing Point: Davis’ Playfields Park

Race Details

• Course: Mostly flat through east and south Davis’s greenbelts and neighborhood streets
• Amenities: Finisher’s medals, half marathon pace groups, t-shirts, and water stations
• Registration Opening: October 1, 2025
• Note: Half Marathon often sells out

Start Times

• 8:00 a.m. - Half Marathon and 10K
• 8:10 a.m. - 5K
• 9:00 a.m. - 2K

Entry Includes

• Included Items: Short sleeved t-shirt, finisher medal, chip timing
• Award Eligibility: Division awards for participants
• Upgrade Option: Long sleeve technical shirt for $8
• Savings Option: Opt out of t-shirt to save $5

Packet Pick Up

• Date: February 21 from 1pm to 4pm at Playfields Park
• Race Day Pick Up: Starts at 6:30 a.m. on February 22
• QR Code: Suggested for fast check-in, found in confirmation email
• Safety Pins: Available at registration for bib attachment

Awards

• Overall Awards: Top male, female, and nonbinary finishers based on gun time
• Age Group Awards: Top three male, female, and nonbinary finishers by net time
• Declining Gender/Age: Will not be eligible for awards or ranking
• Unclaimed Awards: Not mailed: pick up available on race day

Virtual Participation

• Registration: Available for those unable to attend on event day
• Packet Details: Mailed on or about 2/25/26
• Submission of Results: Optional and can be done online
• No Awards: Virtual participants are not eligible for age group or overall awards

Half Marathon Specifics

• Course Cut-off Time: 3.5 hours or 11:30 a.m.
• Minimum Age: 15, with consideration for youth 14 and under
• Fluid Stations: Located approximately every two miles
• Nutrition: Participants should carry their own for training/racing

Strollers, Dogs, and Wheels

• Wheelchair Participants: Permitted in all divisions
• Stroller Rules: Must start at the back: not allowed in competitive divisions
• 2K Rules: Strollers, dogs, and wagons permitted with restrictions
• Dog Policy: Must be on a non-retractable leash: clean up required

Race Timing

• Chip Timing: Ensure crossing the starting mats to begin timing
• Awards Determination: Based on chip/net time for most categories
• Top Finishers: Determined by gun time
• No Crowding: Do not crowd the start line: your time starts on crossing

Support for Adaptive Entrants

• Registration Requirement: Support runners must register as paid entrants
• Guide Guidelines: High visibility clothing recommended
• Registration Option: Cannot register as a Support Runner without pairing

• Non-Refundable: Entries cannot be transferred or refunded
• Weather Policy: Event occurs rain or shine
• Registration Requirement: Must be registered for intended distance
