Davis Stampede

Event Overview

• Date: February 22, 2026
• Location: 2500 Research Park Dr, Davis, CA
• Routes: 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and a 2K fun run/walk
• Start/Finish: Starting and finishing at Davis’ Playfields Park

Registration Information

• Opened: Registration for the 43rd Davis Stampede opened on October 1, 2025
• Early Registration: Please register early! The Half Marathon often sells out or comes close to it.

Start Times

• 8:00 a.m. - Half Marathon and 10K
• 8:10 a.m. - 5K
• 9:00 a.m. - 2K
• Note: Last updated 9/2025: subject to change

Entry Includes

• T-Shirt: Blend performance short sleeved
• Finisher Medal: Included for all participants
• Chip Timing: All races utilize chip timing
• Upgrade Option: Long sleeve technical shirt for $8

Packet Pick Up

• When: Saturday, February 21 from 1pm to 4pm
• Location: Playfields Park (race venue)
• Race Day Pick-Up: Available starting at 6:30 a.m.
• Note: QR code for fast check-in suggested

Awards

• Overall Awards: Top finishers based on gun time
• Age Group Awards: Top three per age group based on net time
• Unclaimed Awards: Not mailed, must be picked up on race day
• Special Divisions: Awards for the top three finishers in each division

Participate Virtually

• Virtual Registration: Available for those unable to attend on event day
• Packet Inclusions: Bib, finisher medal, t-shirt
• Result Submission: Available from February 21 through March 22
• No Awards: No age group or overall awards for virtual division

Half Marathon Details

• Cut-Off Time: 3.5 hours (11:30 a.m.)
• Minimum Age: 15: younger participants may register with an adult
• Fluid Stations: Located approximately every two miles

Strollers, Wagons, and Wheels

• Participation: Wheelchair entrants in all divisions: strollers permitted in 2K
• Starting Position: Strollers must start at the back of the pack
• Seatbelts: Required for wagons with children inside
• Children: Suggested that children under age 11 are accompanied

Timing Information

• Chip Timing: Times start when crossing the mats
• Awards: Determined by chip/net time for all but top overall finishers

Guides/Support Runners for Adaptive Entrants

• Registration: Support runners must register as standard participants
• Visibility: Suggested to wear high visibility clothing
