Stand Up, Speak Out Labor Day 5K

🏃‍♂️ Packed with Excitement: Packet Pick-Up Info

• When: Early registration pick up will be held on Saturday, August 30.
• Where: Ye Olde Sandwich Shoppe in Seneca from 11am-2pm.
• Suggestion: Make sure to enjoy a delicious sandwich and/or ice cream while there :-)

🎗️ Purpose and Mission: Racing to Prevent Abuse

• Organization: Stand Up, Speak Out Labor Day 5K is sponsored by A Call to Action Oconee, a 501c3 organization.
• Focus: The mission is to end Domestic Violence, Dating Abuse, and Bullying in our community.
• Support: All proceeds go toward awareness and education programs.
• Goal: It is hoped that participants will gain an understanding of the importance of Standing Up and Speaking Out against abuse.

📏 Course Details: Certified Course Chip Timing

• Route: An easy to moderate out and back run beginning on Main St.
• Neighborhoods: The route goes through a couple of neighborhoods.
• Turnaround: There is a slight incline to the turnaround in front of the Seneca Middle School sign.
• Hydration: A water station is available just before the turnaround.

👥 Team Spirit: Teams Are Welcome!

• Discount: Teams of 10 or more will receive a $5 discount.
• Captain: If interested in being a Team Captain, please contact Starr at finishwelltiming@gmail.com.
• Recognition: Awards will be made for both the largest team and the fastest team.
