Racing to Prevent Abuse
Stand Up, Speak Out Labor Day 5K is sponsored by A Call to Action Oconee, a 501c3 organization whose mission is to end Domestic Violence, Dating Abuse, and Bullying in our community. All the proceeds from this 5K go toward awareness and education programs, teaching free Bystander Intervention classes, and assistance to survivors. It is our hope that participants will enjoy the run and gain an understanding of the importance of Standing Up and Speaking Out against abuse of any kind. Thank you for joining us in this great effort to make our community a safer place.

Course Information
- Course Type: Certified Course Chip Timing
- Route: Easy to moderate out and back run starting on Main St.
- Neighborhoods: The course passes through a couple of neighborhoods before turning onto W South 4th.
- Water Station: Available just before the turnaround in front of the Seneca Middle School sign.
Team Participation
- Team Discount: Teams of 10 or more will receive a $5 discount.
- Team Captain: If interested in being a Team Captain, please contact Starr at finishwelltiming@gmail.com.
- Team Recognition: Awards will be given for both the largest team and the fastest team.

Fun Run Information
- Age Group: Fun Run for participants 10 and under.
- Finisher Medal: Each participant will receive a finisher medal.

- T-shirt: If a t-shirt is requested, there is a $10 charge for the shirt.
