🎗️ About the Event
Mission: Stand Up, Speak Out Labor Day 5K is sponsored by A Call to Action Oconee, a 501c3 organization whose mission is to end Domestic Violence, Dating Abuse, and Bullying in our community.
Proceeds: All the proceeds from this 5K go toward awareness and education programs, teaching free Bystander Intervention classes, and assistance to survivors.
Community Importance: It is our hope that participants will enjoy the run and gain an understanding of the importance of Standing Up and Speaking Out against abuse of any kind.
Gratitude: Thank you for joining us in this great effort to make our community a safer place.
⏱️ Course & Timing
Certification: Certified Course Chip Timing
Course Description: The course is an easy to moderate out and back run beginning on Main St., through a couple of neighborhoods.
Turnaround Point: The course takes a right onto W South 4th up a slight incline to the turnaround in front of the Seneca Middle School sign.
Water Station: There is a water station just before the turnaround.
👥 Team Registration
Discount: Teams of 10 or more will receive a $5 discount.
Team Captain: If interested in being a Team Captain, please contact Starr at finishwelltiming@gmail.com.
Recognition: Recognition will be made for both the largest team and the fastest team.
