The Rotary Clubs of Oconee County welcomes you to our annual running event. People of all ages and abilities from walkers, to first-time 5k runners to world-class athletes enjoy our USATF Certified course featuring the quintessential community of Walhalla, SC.

📚 Support Literacy Projects

• Fundraising Purpose: This race helps fund Literacy projects in Oconee County.
• Book Donations: For example, funds are donated to buy books through Scholastic Books for area elementary schools.
• Annual Book Drive: In addition, we also have an annual book drive with other area Rotary Clubs to collect books to give to organizations that are helping families that may not be able to purchase books for their children.

🌟 Community Grants Program

Our Community Grants Program. The following are just some of the charities supported over the years:

• Collins Children’s Home: A charity providing a family-like environment for children.
• Cub Scout Pack 3031: A local scouting group focused on character development.
• Fostering Faithfully Grace’s Closet: Provides resources for foster care.
• Oconee County Sheriff’s Youth Leadership Camp: A program for youth development through leadership.
• OMH Cancer Institute: Focused on research and treatment of cancer.
• Our Daily Rest: Supports local families in need.
• Ripple of One: A charity dedicated to helping those in crisis.
