The Classic Fun Run Presented By American Diabetes Association

🏃 The Classic Fun Run Overview

The American Diabetes Association in association with the Magic City Classic is hosting an Inaugural 2 Mile Walk / Run on Saturday, November 1st at 8 am along Birmingham's City Walk path. The 2 Mile Walk/Run is open to everyone of all abilities.

👕 Participant Benefits

• Event T-Shirt: Participants will receive an event t-shirt (sizes not guaranteed) Sizes Small - XXX-Large.
• Registration Bib: A Bib number to show they are a registered participant.
• Swag Bag: Each participant will receive a swag bag.

📅 Pre-Race Information

• Packet Pickup: Thursday, October 30th from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm.
• Location: Trak Shak in Homewood, 2839 18th St South, Homewood, AL 35209.
• Note: Registration will be Cashless (Credit Card only) on-site, please plan to register before arriving to speed up the packet pickup process.

🏁 Race Day Information

• Packet Pickup: Registration Opens at 6:30am, Registration Closes at 7:45am, 2 Mile Walk / Run Starts at 8:00am.
• Finisher Festivities: Begin at 8:30am.
• Fun Area: There will be a fun area for the Kids. - Details coming soon.

📍 Course Route

• Route: The Course Route will follow the "Red" City Walk path starting at 15th St. North and 9th Ave. North and proceed to the Kid's area at 25th St. North, taking the same route back to the starting location for an approximate distance of 2 miles.
• Parking: Two gravel parking lots close to the race start are available and street parking is accessible via the mobile app ParkMobile.

📋 Bib Number Guidelines

Please wear your BIB number on the FRONT of your shirt during the race. Remember to bring your Bib Number Race day.

🚫 Bandit Policy

Bandits are unregistered runners or walkers attempting to participate in the run or walk event. Running without registration is not permitted in the 2 Mile Walk/Run. Please be sure to register for The Classic Fun Run Presented By the American Diabetes Association 2 Mile Walk/Run so that you can enjoy all that the race has to offer.

🐶 Pets at the Event

Pets are welcome to participate. All pets must be on a leash. Please clean up after your pet. The actions of the pet are the responsibility of the pet owner/caretaker.

🛒 Strollers at the Event

If you are participating with a stroller and/or children, we ask that you keep your children with you at all times and that you start from the back of the starting line.

❗ Cancellation Statement

Your entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The event will occur rain or shine, warm or cold. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation to the American Diabetes Association. You can make changes to your registration or transfer to another person by logging back into RunSignUp.com with your User ID.
