🌟 About the Foundation

This race is planned on behalf of the Amanda Pair Foundation, a non-profit organization with the intent to honor the life and legacy of Amanda Pair, who we lost in June of 2022 after a hard-fought and courageous battle with lung cancer at the age of 40. The mission of the foundation is to:

• Overcome Cancer: By caring for families affected by cancer.
• Funding Research: Supporting cancer research efforts.
• Investing in Future: Investing in the next generation.

🏃‍♀️ Race Details

The 3rd Annual Amanda Pair Foundation Legacy Run in the Park will be a 5k race and fun run event, with the majority of proceeds directed to fund a memorial scholarship created in Amanda’s honor by the Vestavia Hills Elementary Liberty Park PTO. Details include:

• Course: A loop around the community of Liberty Park, starting and ending at Vestavia Hills Elementary Liberty Park.
• Amanda's Legacy: Served the VHELP PTO tirelessly, including as PTO President during the 2020-2021 school year.
• Scholarship: Awarded to a deserving Liberty Park senior student at VHHS each year through 2035.
