- Variety: 5K, 10K, Fun Run, and Virtual options available
- Course: Certified, flat route in Crestline Village
- Timing: Chipped and timed for accurate results
- Medals: All participants receive a packet with a t-shirt and finisher medal: winner medals for 1st place finishers

- Mission: Raise funds to support current and future students at UAB
- Impact: Assistance provided to first year, first-gen, legacy, and graduate students
- Fundraising: Over $1 million raised since the event started in 2007
