🏃‍♂️ BHM26.2 2025 Overview

BHM26.2 2025 is Alabama's only fully charitable race series, benefitting Magic Moments on Sunday, October 5th. Comprised of a full marathon, 5-person marathon relay, half marathon, 10k, 5k and kid's fun run, BHM26.2's Race Series brings exciting courses to the Birmingham Metro area! With over 2,000 runners, this event is one of Alabama's most highly attended races with a family-friendly After Party for participants and anyone supporting the cause!

🏅 Marathon Course

• Challenging Route: A beautiful but challenging 13.1 looped run through the city and neighborhoods of Hoover.
• Terrain: A mix of rolling hills, flat terrain, and a beautiful waterfront.
• Support Stations: Frequent water stations, cheer stations, and medical stations available.
• Race Day Experience: Ensures safety and an incredible race day experience!

🤝 Marathon Relay

• Team Activity: Designed for fun team building to tackle the marathon course!
• Leg Options: 5 miles, 5 miles, 3.1 miles, 6.9 miles, and 6.2 miles.
• Flexibility: Teams may opt for less than 5 runners if members choose to run consecutive legs.
• Medals: All members of the relay team will receive their medals together at the finish line!

🏞️ Half Marathon

• Popular Event: Back and better than ever after selling out last year!
• Scenic Course: Winding through city and neighborhood streets along a beautiful waterfront.
• Enhanced Support: Improved logistics and a festive race-day atmosphere.
• For Everyone: A race you won’t want to miss, whether you’re a seasoned runner or a first-timer.

• Suitable for All: Perfect for runners of all levels looking for a challenge or fitness goal.
• Course Features: A mix of flat stretches, rolling hills, and scenic views.
• Crowd Support: Vibrant crowd support, water stations, and a medical station available.
• Finish Line Celebration: An unforgettable finish line celebration awaits!

👶 Kid’s Fun Run

• For Children and Patients: Aimed at those who wish to participate in our race weekend.
• Age Requirement: Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Stroller Friendly: This is a stroller-friendly event.
• Distance: The run is around ¼ mile!

🎉 Expo and After Party

• Expo Details: Returning on Saturday, October 4th at the Finley Center from 10am - 4pm!
• Packet Pickup: All Packet Pickups will take place at the Expo.
• Vendors: Great lineup of local vendors, businesses, and race sponsors to explore.
• Community Energy: Enjoy the energy of our amazing community!
