Mayor's River Walk and Run 5K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Lace up your sneakers and hit the River Trail with Mayor Andy Schor! Join us at Potter Park on June 7 at 9 AM for a fun and scenic 5K loop along the river. Walkers and runners of all ages are welcome!

• Participation : Every participant receives a t-shirt, medal, and snacks at the end.
• Fun Stations : There will also be fun stations along the way to break up the trail for the kids.
• ArtPath Installations : The trail will lead you by 20 all new ArtPath installations for this year.
• Art Contribution : We kick off our 8th year of bringing art to the trail with the Lansing Art Gallery.

💰 Registration Details

Registration for the competitive run is $20 until May 24th for runners and includes a Mayor's River Walk T-Shirt, finisher medal, and matching socks with prizes for the top three finishers in each age group. (5/25 to 6/3, $25: 6/4 to 6/6, $30).

📦 Packet Pickup

Packet pickup: June 4th and 5th from 3-6 pm at the Foster Center (200 N Foster Ave, Lansing): Race day starting at 8:00 am at Potter Park.

• Pre-registration : Be sure to preregister! There will be no race day registration available.
• Walkers Registration : Walkers can register on site.

Proceeds and donations from this event go to support the Friends of the Lansing Regional Trails.

⏱️ Race Timing

The competitive run will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race on this website.
