🎗️ Baby Steps Memorial Run
The Baby Steps Memorial Run will take place on September 13, 2025, at 1161 Murphrees Valley Road (TURN AT BRADFORD ROAD), Springville, AL. For more details, visit our race page.
📝 Registration Deadline
- Important Date: You must register by 8/15/25 to submit memorial names for shirts/signs and guarantee a race shirt. We will not accept shirt sizes after this date!
- Post-Deadline Registrations: If you are registering after this date and would like a shirt, check with our packet pickup committee AFTER the awards are given out to purchase a race shirt for $20 if any extras are available.
- Early Bird Special: THANK YOU to those who took advantage of the EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION to save $5! It helps make our race planning easier and saves you money!
- Fees: Registration fees will increase again on race day!
📅 Guaranteed Name Submission
- Deadline: August 15, 2025, is the deadline to submit memorial names and order shirts this year! Due to planning the shirt design and printing, we cannot make any exceptions!
- Confirmation: All participants who pre-register online by our deadline specified (8/15/25) will have their loved one's name included on the race shirt design and any memorial pieces for the event.
- Spelling: Please be sure to double-check your spelling before you submit your registration!
- Memorial Signs: Memorial items may include a "WE REMEMBER THEM" sign to honor your loved one displayed throughout the course. We will recycle the signs each year to save on printing costs, so please do not take signs with you from the run. You are welcome to take pictures!
📦 Packet Pickup
- Location: The Amelia Center - 1513 4th Ave S - Birmingham, AL 35233
- Date & Time: Thursday, September 11th from 10 AM - 4:30 PM
- Pickup Limitations: We cannot extend these times due to the hours of The Amelia Center.
- Team Pickup: We encourage you to designate one person per team to pick up your race packets. If you are not on a team but have several people you can pick up for, that's ok too! Please text 205-603-6049 with your team name (or list of participants) and time you would like to pick up packets.
🏃♂️ Race Day Information
Join us on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Homestead Hollow, 1161 Murphrees Valley Road, Springville, AL 35146.
- Arrival: Plan to arrive no later than 7:30 AM! We may need to block off the entrance at this time for everyone's safety.
- Same Day Registration: 7 AM - Same Day Registration and Packet Pickup
- Race Start: 8:00 AM - 5K START, followed by the FUN RUN START.

Awards will be given for the following:
- 5K: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in gender/age categories
- FUN RUN: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places
- Top Fundraisers: TOP 3 ONLINE Fundraisers - be sure to set up your fundraiser page.
- Largest Team: Largest team (pre-registered only)

💖 Health Guidelines
Please do not come to race day if you are ill. We want to keep you all safe and healthy.
- Masks: Masks are welcome, but not required.
- Stay Home: You must stay home if you show any symptoms of illness or you have tested positive for COVID within 5 days of the event.
- Exposure Regulations: You are required to wear a mask if you have been exposed to a confirmed case of COVID within 10 days of the race.
- Hygiene Practices: We will have hand sanitizer at the race, but please help us by practicing basic health and hygiene practices like handwashing!
