Cancellation Notice for 2026 Race (June 13th Portage, Indiana)
Runners, Walkers, Warriors, Friends, Volunteers, and all our Amazing Friends,
Event Cancellation
- Announcement: It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of the 5th Annual MS Warrior Dash.
- Reason: Due to personal and medical challenges, we are unable to give this event the time and care it deserves in 2026.
- Community Impact: This event has become something truly special because of the people who showed up—participants, volunteers, and supporters.
- Future Events: We very much hope to continue the MSWD race series in the near future after a bit of healing and recovery.
Celebration Picnic
- Date & Time: Please join us at the park from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for a relaxed picnic.
- Food: We’ll provide hot dogs (including vegan options), and you’re welcome to bring a dish to share.
- RSVP: Please RSVP using the "Contact Form" below or drop an email to: mike@knopp87.com.
- Activities: The trails and volleyball courts will be open for anyone who wants to enjoy a run or a game.
Additional Information
- Informal Gathering: This will be an informal gathering, so there will be no race-day elements like shirts, medals, or course markings.
- Timing Support: Timer Mike @ Ronin Race Timing would be happy to bring our race arch and timing equipment for an 'open' start/finish for a few hours, pending interest.
- DIY Option: Please note that all trails will be unsupported and unmarked, making this a DIY option.
- Gratitude: Thank you for being part of this journey and for making the MS Warrior Dash such a meaningful experience over the years.
