Proceeds: Proceeds from the race benefit LGBTQ+ Outreach of Porter County.
Date: Race is held on June 21, 2026.
Location: Bluhm County Park 3855 S 1100 W, Westville, IN 46391.
Start Time: Run and Walk start at 8:00 am Central.
🍭 Race Day Information
Packet Pick-Up: Packet pick-up, race day sign-ups and post-race snacks will be at the shelter near the parking lot of the park.
Timing: We are doing old school timing for runners in the race. After finishing, you will receive a popsicle stick with a number on it.
Awards: If you are in the top three in your age group, you will receive your medal after turning the stick in. No formal awards ceremony.
Bib Placement: Runners please place your bib on the front of your shirts.
🏃♂️ Starting Procedure
Starting Line: All runners/walkers will be starting at the same time across the street from the parking lot.
Pacing: We need walkers in the back and runners in front. Please seat yourself based on pace.
Water Stop: The water stop will be at the 1.5-mile mark, which is also your turnaround point.
Route Information: The route will be marked with flags and arrow signs at major turns. Here is link to the route Route Link.
🚻 Facilities
Restrooms: There are no bathrooms on the course: please keep that in mind.
Post-Race Snacks: Snacks, water, and Powerade will be available at the shelter after you finish.
Merchandise: There will be old Crazy Legs Race Series items for sale for $10 with the proceeds going to LGBTQ+ Outreach of Porter County.

Purpose: The Crazy Legs Race Series (CLRS) promotes non-pavement/pavement races in the Northwest Indiana region.
Inclusivity: The Crazy Legs Race Series welcomes and encourages participation by all individuals regardless of their sexual orientation, biological sex, gender identity, or gender expression.
Transgender Registration: Transgender runners may register as the gender they identify with: no documentation is needed.
Land Acknowledgment: We acknowledge that the land on which we host our races is the seized territory of the Miami, Shawnee, and Illinois Nations.
